TERA has been partnering with local organizations and community members to provide direct, local support to our neighbors in need of relief due to the COVID-19 crisis. From generous donations by community members, we have distributed 100 debit cards (each with a $25 value) to vulnerable students, families and residents through partnerships with Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High School and local faith-based organizations. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community members, and our fund remains open for donation as the impacts of the pandemic continue to be felt. If you would like to contribute to the fund, please donate here.

TERA has been partnering with local organizations, community members and the Office of Councilmember Huizar to provide relief to vulnerable Eagle Rock residents:
- COVID-19 Relief Fund — From generous donations by community members, we have distributed 100 debit cards (each with a $25 value) to vulnerable students, families, and residents through partnerships with Eagle Rock Jr./Sr. High School and local faith-based organizations. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community members, and our fund remains open for donation as the impacts of the pandemic continue to be felt. - Senior Meal Program — With funding from the Office of Councilmember Huizar, TERA has partnered with the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council to purchase meals delivered to seniors from Eagle Rock’s own Bite Me Gourm-Asian restaurant. Read more about this effort in the Boulevard Sentinel.
- Fruit Donations to Unhoused Residents — TERA has partnered with Food Forward, an organization that arranges for the donation of surplus produce to the food insecure. TERA has been participating in the Backyard Harvest program, whereby neighbors harvest fruit from trees in their yards and box them up for donation. TERA has been collecting fruit and allocating it to support ERNC members’ direct outreach and provision of goods as well as the temporary homeless shelter at Yosemite Recreation Center.
At the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, TERA activated the Eagle Rock community to provide assistance to our neighbors most in need. This work included:
- Purchasing prepaid gift cards that were distributed to Eagle Rock families in need
- Funding meal plans for Eagle Rock seniors in need, provided by local restaurants, Dave’s Chillin N Grillin and Bite Me Gourm-Asian
- Funding mobile shower events at the Eagle Rock Recreation Center Figueroa Lot for unhoused neighbors in need
TERA thanks all of our members and neighbors for helping to fund this critical work to assist our neighbors most in need.
TERA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that operates independently from the City and is funded primarily by grants and donations from its members.
