Pillarhenge Development
The special significance of the proposed development at 1332 Colorado Boulevard (aka Pillerhenge) is clear to the TERA Board. For those exiting the freeway, this is the first major structure that will be seen. For new visitors, to a degree, it will set the tone for expectations as they drive further into our community.
Mayor Eric Garcetti and the City Council launched Safe Sidewalks LA in December 2016. The goal of this multi-year program is to encourage sidewalk repair citywide. Approximately $31 million is budgeted for repairs in the coming year. If the sidewalk in front of your home needs fixing, a part of that $31 million could be yours. But it won’t be unless you take action. Some key points:

The Department of City Planning and the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment will be hosting a series of Planning 101 Training classes throughout the month of August. The training will take place across six regions and they are intended to provide an overview of the basic elements of planning, land use, and zoning. Community members who are new to the planning process or those who would like to get a refresher course, are invited to the following six training sessions (the ones held closest to Eagle Rock will be in DTLA and Glassell Park):

The organizers of the Eagle Rock Music Festival are holding a public meeting tonight, July 17, 20017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock (2225 Colorado Blvd.).
